Anjali Meets Method Man at Rock The Bells NYC 2010
Unfortunately, it wasn't long because there was such a crowd of reporters to compete with, but I did get the infamous rapper to give a shout out to NewsChannel 3. I'm using a little flipcam to record the interview.

This is my LIVE shot from that morning before Norfolk Police Divers had recovered the man's body... This one wasn't too bad, but the one after did not go as smoothly... (whoops)

This story really creeped everybody out in Hampton Roads. Sorry to possibly ruin your last few weeks of swimming in the ocean!

One Woman Band
Three days out of my work week I act as a one-man-band reporter. Which means, I go out all by myself with my huge camera and shoot, write, report and edit my entire story. It's a lot of work but I love getting to see how much goes into getting a story on air. And of course, what I learn from using the camera and Final Cut Pro (video editing program for Mac) I can use forever.

Newport News Police are looking for the man who shot and killed Frank Griffin IV but not to charge him with murder. Police believe the gunman shot Griffin in self defense when Griffin was trying to rob him. But police need the shooter to come forward and tell them that, that is in fact, what happened early Thursday morning.

Happy Birthday to the U.S. Coast Guard
The U.S. Coast Guard turned 220 today and what better city to celebrate that in than Portsmouth, VA. You may not know, but Portsmouth is one of only nine other cities in the U.S. that is considered an "Official Coast Guard City". Today's date marks the first annual 'Coast Guard Day' in the city. It is a true honor to get to cover so many stories that involve the service men and women of the United States.

NewsChannel Three Takes Action and Gets Results
...For the Virginia Beach Health Clinic who's air conditioning unit was stolen last week. The clinic is run completely by volunteers in the area. When we aired this story, a man from A.C. Plumbing Inc. in Norfolk wanted to help by donating an A/C unit and even installing it for them. See? The media isn't all that bad...
